god its been a while hasnt it!!! ;_; i am so so sorry...ive been doing exams and ive only been able to write drafts for past few months, and even then i end up deleting a good chunk of them because they just dont feel that good to write. best i make one good post rather than several bad posts u know?
i wish blogger had a good mobile app...i like this site but actually making a post from my phone is a process that is so bad it makes me give up...i can never format my posts well x_x so desktop is my only choice...if they had a mobile app or if theyd actually make their site usable on mobile id consider posting more...lol
its like 1:30 am...i have an exam tomorrow, specifically my alevel bio practical.......ahh
anyways, recently, i got some golden bomber merch for eid (yay) and all is well even if things got bad (not yay) they got better and have been better ever since the last week or so (yay again). april was a bad bad month is all ill say ;_: i mustnt speak of it...lest it only gets worse! all that bad was for a reason though. most of my exams ended up being easy. i guess once bad happens good comes afterwards? dont ask me
one thing that i was lucky enough to snag was a copy of my most wanted golden bomber dvd, specifically their 2012 fanclub tour dvd called kinbaku all stars 2012. fun fact, its one of only two dvd releases to be serial numbered with the other one being a fanclub tour from 2016 (fanclub ittetekureta arigato? i believe thats the name?). overall, it's a very very interesting dvd both in concept and in HOW that concept is executed. i won't keep you stalling because i just wanna write this to wind down before i go to bed.
*ahem ahem*
this tour's whole concept is to let each member shine and somehow have a role in performing besides just standing there all pretty. that's what makes this so special!!! every member gets to sing!!! and put on a character!!! i'll go through every one with you YEAH YOU and we can have fun together. cool!
first up was reverset! kenji's very original band (which isnt just everset roadies taking their revenge on tatsuo). here he did vocals under the name narcisse kenji. ooh la la! basically hes just Le cool koteosa/loudkei band vocalist. this particular character of kenjis has existed for a while prior to the concert. thats a trend ull notice with these alter egos; theyve been around for a while before the tour!

he performed two songs as reverset. spicy dog (everset cover) and music rider (original i think?)
and jun carried out the first two tenkan MCs!!! wao!!!! he called kenji an ikeman and he said he has a really distinct laugh...(jun...)
next came shoya, portrayed by sho kiryuin.
we have some lore for this guy too. he's 43 years old at the time of this tour (making him...55 now) and he hasnt sung in 15 years too. all according to the intro video
soooo that means at the time he hadnt been active since like...1997. shoya is basically just sho but stuck in bubble era japan forever. he also uses omae and ore making him a bad boy (bad boy)
cool screenshots. i liked this tour's version of oh my love! more than the 2015 version honestly....the performance of dance my generation also used the demo version instrumentals, and at the end it was announced to be released as a single. cool!

after that little disco disco party we had what i think is the most deranged golden bomber alter ego...ever
christine yutako, portrayed by yutaka kyan.
an idol who got famous for her...relations (i dunno what was said exactly) with her producer who is just sho kiryuin and for her number 1 charting single mata anta ni bango wo oshienakatta which got her SO FAMOUS she performed in tokyo dome for 6 days and starred in helter skelter...i mean. helter sukebeda
she performed two songs that were really beautiful one was...her very original song and one was trauma host yarou. which is also original (its a gender swapped trauma kyabajou parody in fact its so gender swapped they even used the -wa particle which girls use)
fun fact yutako's first known appearance was in 2010! the third intro video image was from the zenryoku baka concert

for the last half, kenji gave the tenkan mcs...look at how cute he is with his half-done makeup and his little hairpins and yutako's scrunchie. hes so selfless. i love him so much . (drops him into a vat of acid while he isnt looking)
junkoooooo!!! she's one of the earlier alter egos, appearing in a skit gb did in 2009. the homeless visual kei one
she's a very cute little character...i think in a way she's a representation of the fans but then again she's supposed to be a sixth gun and not a kinbakugya specifically so (shrug)
both of her songs were covers. cockroach by the gazette and dokugumo onna by golden bomber. it was also supposed to be sung in karaoke hence why her singing sucked (cough) it fits her character very well...

in all seriousness, i liked this version of mou bandman ni koi nante shinai a lot. for whatever reason recently ive found the song harder to listen to...its very nostalgic of when i first got into the band in 2020 so i find myself getting All the Feels
last alter ego before they performed as themselves was this!!! golden voice. yutaka on vocals, sho on drums, kenji on bass, and jun on guitar.
rocket dive was really nice. i wish they made it into a real song...
i didnt screenshot it but it was one of their managers (t-mane) giving the mc this time. she's cute lol
to end off this post, golden bomber!!!!
opening SE was super epic...setlist was solid...a few pre-release songs, a few classics...overall it was really good...makes me wish i couldve been there. but then again every golden bomber concert makes me wish i were there
