It's hot. I have no new clothes. None of my friends from uni have been enjoying this vacation. All ive gotten out of this is a liz lisa bag...
Well, it's alright. Every day is a day closer to a wonderful autumn season, not too warm, not too cold. Back to the dorm. I hate the dorm...but it's close to uni and I can always open the AC.
Back to studying modules that kind of suck.
Back to the heavy blankets.
Back to...getting the flu...and people barely checking up on me...(pien)...

Last year, my autumn obsession was Gakukiri. I wonder what it'll be this year. I have my bets placed on Makkoli from MO4, or something. I first discovered i need him bad before a pharmacology section so i think it's destiny...

It's true. As always, I've been gaming too much to blog. If anything, I'm really only blogging because my friend S told me to...as she put it "All this gaming is getting in the way of your blogging cat we can't keep doing this". Don't forget what truly matters...(and that im with you in the dark)
I replayed Undertale for...i think, the 8th time thus far. I did a true pacifist route after a genocide route. I really only named myself Gackt because I wanted to see Asriel say "I'm so lonely, Gackt"
Everytime i play, i feel so emotional...i want Alphys to be happy. WHO CARES ABOUT THE AMALGAMATES BRO. THEY WERE DYING ANYWAYS
Is anyone else excited for the future of Deltarune? I keep seeing people post about Skies Forever Blue, and making connections between it and the weird route, and at first i was liek WELL TOBY OBVI ISNT GONNA USE AN UNRELATED SONG but then i remembered half of ut/dr...IS unrelated songs (e.g another medium, metal crusher, black knife, april 2012...even the egg room music!), so it's alright. I think it'd be nice to have more Itoki Hana in the OST too :> her vocals are very nice and ethereal...
I started MO4 hard mode!! I've been doing really good thus far =u=
Some notable things:
The whole "x0.5 damage dealt, x1.5 damage taken" thing exists, just in a really weird way...in main story bosses (coughcough hellhound coughcough), it's especially annoying because when low-attack characters, mostly Koritora and even Jack of all people, would deal 0 dmg at times...keep that in mind.
Forget everything normal mode taught you. All you have to do is survive. You just have to not die
If there's one thing i learned, it's that the fetch quests are 10x worse now. I was too focused on Mekame Army thinking they'd be the worst fight, but it easily had to be either the things you fight in Arasa Pyramid or King Metal Pome. Both of those fights were just as bad, if not worse because of the limitations you have to deal with...
Since i was replaying, it was just easier to get through since i had the advantage of knowing how everything works beforehand, but it's still a fun challenge ^.^
Hard mode is turned off in pasiri order fights and class heat fights, so keep a hold of your items!
And a dumb tip, try discovering more secrets and going to more dungeons! My personal favorite secret was visiting the Gapanese empire ruins on the way to Yurireiz. You get unique dialogue from Sigkin where he's like OK CAN WE LEAVE? and you can also find a treasure chest with a Book of Armageddon.

I missed him so bad. I did not miss how he apparently has 20000 hp hello???? Only one other boss has that much and it's Fwancois. Dude...
So far, I'm stuck on his boss fight...but I've had my fair share of perfect clears which I have not had in my first save...I'm very happy about that!! That extra 2k exp means a lot...I can do...so much...like...upgrade...more passives...?
I have so much hope...v6 is going to fix everything...v6 is gonna clear my skin...v6 will help me sleep...v6 is going to help me stop having to use birth control to get periods...v6 will...uh...be really nice!
I have a lot of predictions, but it's all bullshit...do this bingo if you're also an MO4 fan and see if you agree or not. Or don't. But i'll be weawwy sad
It's written by Shimokura Vio, the guy who wrote a ton of other nitroplus games like Saya no Uta and Slow Damage, as well as Axanael (which i plan on playing after i finish GnC or whenever med school doesnt kick me in the ass. whichever comes first, really). The atmosphere is pretty grimey and gothic noir, and i love it. It's a very nice change of pace from what I usually play!
The main issue I have is just with the pacing. It's pretty slow, and there's a bit of a gap between what's introduced and when it gets explained. Regardless, i still really enjoyed it and maybe there was a reason for it to be that way.
I could really only find it in English, so I'm playing an English version. The translation's alright, but there are a few things here and there that read to me as either too literal or just confusing. I'm not too picky with translations so I really don't care (lol) but i can see why people would refuse to play it solely because of the translation. It needed a bit of proofreading IMO
Ah! And just as a warning, this is an eroge. Duh. So...don't be dumb, ok?!?

Getting back into VNs is probably one of the best decisions ive made...next up i plan on reading Axanael, but i do ALSO wanna read Togainu no Chi...mostly because S likes it and I've also just been consuming it through osmosis when in reality i just need to sit my ass down and READ. I'm tempting her with this game by showing her Carmelo and she's tempting me by subliminally filling my TL with TnC pics...it's a fair trade-off if you ask me u_u
